About Marti Green

Marti Green Marti was born to her passion for nature and painting. It has always seemed natural for her to express the diversity that nature has to offer through her paintings.

She has an innate ability to express nature's ever-changing moods through her use of color and simplicity of style.

Her vitality for life and the emotions she feels are all expressed through her paintings, most of which are from places she has visited and sketched on site.

She has attended both Olympic College and Evergreen State College with an emphasis on business, advertising and commercial art. She continues to study at every opportunity to ensure that she masters the techniques that best convey the atmosphere she hopes to express.

As a member of the Peninsula Art League , Marti is on the screening committee for the organization. She has also worked as a judge at the Kitsap County Fair, for local art leagues and has demonstrated her style and techniques to other artists.

Marti has won numerous awards for her paintings and has paintings in private collections across the United States and Europe and additionally has a painting hanging in the legislative offices in Olympia.

All prints are produced by a giclee process and are printed on 140 lb. cold press, acid-free archival watercolor paper.

Marti is a lifelong resident of the Puget Sound Area currently living in Port Orchard, Washington with her husband Steve. She creates her paintings in a studio located in her home where they also frame and mat her work. She conducts her business locally under the name Watermark Studios and Fine Art Printing.
