A contemporary oil painting using a palette knife. With living in the Northwest, I have the love for the smell of salt water air on summer days, the sounds of seagulls waiting for fisherman's catch at the end of day. I love to visit the harbors for summer walks on the docks or kayaking. This was a simple and fun quick painting to do. I never tire with these paintings and they are my favorite along with the Public Market in Seattle. Original may still be available at the Bluewater Gallery in Poulsbo, WA.
